Eve Ensler: Embrace Your Inner Girl

The first time I heard Eve Ensler recite the poem, I Am An Emotional Creature, I had to smile because it was so real, so true, so profound. Yes, you would not tell the Atlantic Ocean to behave.

Eve shares stories of women and girls who were raped, beaten, about to be sold and how many of them are healing or have healed within their spirit, if not their bodies. All too often we hide the fact that we have been raped or sexually molested for fear that we become the culprit, that we are lying about what happened and then there are those who actually think that rape is a matter to be laughed at. I think not.
